PlayBack Press: Who are your musical influences?
Erik Chandler: We have so many musical influences, it’s ridiculous. When we grew up, everybody from our parents, music was always a part of our lives. From disco to Johnny Cash, The Eagles, and Kenny Rogers, John Lennon and the Beatles, and stuff like that. But as far as the stuff that shapes what we sound like now it’s probably gonna be more like, everybody was really into the Ramones and the Descendants and Cheap Trick. Like it or not, there was a lot of 80’s hair metal in there.

PBP: Pick one the three: plaid, stripes or polka dots.
EC: I’m gonna have to go with… hmm… plaid.

PBP: Why plaid?
EC: I’m trying to think if I have more plaid, stripes, or polka dots hanging in my closet. So I’m gonna go with plaid. I’ve got several big checkered plaid shirts.

PBP: If your life was a movie, which celebrity would play you and what would the movie be called?
EC: It would be John Cusack. What would the movie be called? Hell, I don’t know. *laughs* It would be called “My life in a Bottle.”

PBP: If you guys were playing a game of Survivor, which one of you would get kicked off the island first?
EC: I’m gonna say we’d kick Chris off so we could all have enough food to survive.
